Editing Worker Timesheets

Overview

You may need to edit shift start or end time when a worker forgot to punch in or out on time to correct their pay hours.


Prerequisites

You need to have an account with the Operations role, or a custom role with rights to edit timesheets.



Solution

  1. Log in to the Street Smart web portal using your credentials and company ID.
  2. Navigate to Shifts.

  3. Select the required date range and click Save.

  4. Click on the required worker and select Worker Timesheets.

  5. On the new page, you can adjust timesheets in the following ways:
    • Click Add Shift if the worker was not able to track their time on a specific day:
      1. Enter the required date and shift start time.
      2. Click Start Break and specify break start and end time.
      3. Click End Shift and specify the shift end time.
      4. Also, you can add comments to the created shift.
      5. Once done, click Save & Close.

    • If the worker forgot to start or end shift (or break) on time, click on the shift you want to modify and select Edit Shift.

      Modify shift start or end time as needed; add comments and a break if required. 
      If a worker forgot to end their shift, click End Shift and enter the required time - the worker's time tracking will be stopped.

      Click Save & Close once done.

Testing

Modified or created shift is displayed with a new time and with a globe icon, which indicates that the shift was edited or created from management console (web portal).
