Managing Shifts for Workers as Supervisor from Mobile App

Overview

Supervising managers may need to view status of mobile workers and start or end shifts and breaks for workers within their team using a mobile device. 

Prerequisites

• You have an account with Mobile Supervisor permission.
• You have installed and activated the StreetSmart mobile app on your device.

Solution

1. Open the StreetSmart mobile app on your mobile device.
2. Tap on the Supervisor icon.
   
   
   
   Status of each workers in your group is displayed.
   
   
   
   
3. You can:
   • Start shift for all workers by tapping Start Shift.
   • End Shift for all workers on shift.
     If there are no workers on duty, you will get a message:
     No suitable workers found for this action.
   • Start Break for all users on duty.
   • End Break for all workers who are currently on a break.
     
     
     
     
   • Start or end shift/break for a single user:
     1. Tap on the user for which you want to perform an action.
        
        
        
        
     2. On the next screen, you can start/end shift or break for the selected worker (depending on the current user status).
